Join a unique and inspiring workshop led by Bindi Bindi Art, a married queer Aboriginal artist duo dedicated to sharing Aboriginal stories through art. Bindi Bindi Art is known for exploring themes of culture, identity, and connection, creating works that reflect both personal and collective narratives.

In this hands-on session, participants will engage with storytelling through Aboriginal art, learning how symbols, patterns, and colours can convey rich cultural stories. The workshop begins with an introduction to Bindi Bindi’s artistic practice, their inspirations, and the ways Aboriginal art can communicate identity, connection, and culture.

Guided by the artists, participants will then create their own artwork, reflecting their personal stories while drawing inspiration from traditional and contemporary Aboriginal art practices. Each participant will leave with their own completed artwork on a framed canvas, making this both a creative and meaningful keepsake.

This session is a welcoming space for people of all backgrounds, encouraging reflection, creativity, and connection, while celebrating the rich storytelling traditions of Aboriginal culture. Whether you are new to art or an experienced creator, this workshop offers an opportunity to explore your own story through guided artistic practice.
