Join us for a deep dive into Sydney’s Queer history as you’re guided along the streets of Darlinghurst from Hyde Park to Paddington.
Ever wonder which community venues were the talk of the town in the ‘70s and 80’s heyday of ‘The Golden Mile’?
Do you know Darlinghurst’s connection to Australia’s only known gay bushranger, Captain Moonlight?
What DID actually happen at the first Mardi Gras in 1978?
These questions and many others will be answered as you learn about what this neighbourhood has meant to Sydney’s Queer community over the years – so much history, advocacy, celebration.
Cap it off with an included visit to the exhibitions of Qtopia Sydney, the world’s biggest centre for Queer History and Culture.
